Having excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Understanding running the score up, unethical-unwritten rules. Attending staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance. Representing your organization in a professional manner. Act as a team representative and promote the sport by communicating with the news media, booster clubs, service clubs, and other organizations. Participating and creating community outreach activities. Ensure all football coaches work together toward a common goal within the community as well as establishing youth programs. Communicating with parents/guardians, community members and being a public servant. Follow established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury.

To provide a solid foundation on the importance of community reltaions, sportsmanship and the ethics of the sport.
