Course selection

American Football Medic Courses are intended to introduce concepts and practices on how to assess, prevent and treat common injuries related to the sport of American Football. Courses will focus on anatomy, the use of protective equipment, some principles of preventative care, concussion protocol, ethics, and applying First aid/Emergency Care during American Football matches and practices. Participants will also learn the technique of taping and bracing athletic injuries. Please note, that the purpose of these courses is to offer temporary First aid in the event of an injury. The courses will either be facilitated or designed by certified Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists.
