How to relate to players and to teach them on and off the field. Demonstrate the ability to instruct and supervise athletes. How to identify and set up precautions to protect athletes, equipment, and facilities, including protecting athletes from hazing/bullying. How to apply and enforce team discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while on trips. Encouraging sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation at all times. Ensuring all football coaches work together toward a common goal within the football program and provide unity within the youth community programs. Resolving disputes within the team and addressing bad behavior in a timely manner. Establishing team rules and regulations and ensuring players are familiar with them. Organizing team building sessions and activities off the field. Building coachable players.

To provide a solid foundation about how to properly build team culture and a positive atmosphere where everyone is thriving.
