American Football Officials courses

The course is primarily for judges whose 2-year licenses is set to expire.
Judges who have an active 2-year license that does not expire this year can also register for the course. The course is held in connection with a training match and requires the participants to judge the match.

The course is an extension of the Basic module, where at the same time we are thoroughly taught to officiate the positions of Umpire and Back Judge. The course targets the Umpire and Back Judge positions, but also provides good input for those who want to officiate other positions.

Prerequisites: It is a prerequisite that the participant has knowledge of the referee act similar to that obtained on the Basic module.

The course is an extension of the Basic module, where at the same time we are thoroughly taught to judge the positions Referee and Wing (Line judge or Linesman). The course targets the Referee and Wings positions, but also provides good input for those who want to officiate in other positions.

Prerequisites: It is a prerequisite that the participant has knowledge of the referee act similar to that obtained on the Basic module.

This course is designed for brand new judges. (Thus, we ask judges with more than two years of experience not to attend.) It is highly recommended

Prerequisites: None – beyond interest in judging football. It is highly recommended to take introduction to American football course.
